IELTS Speaking

The speaking part evaluates your ability to utilize oral English.

Section 1 – the assessor will ask you general inquiries about yourself and a scope of everyday subjects such as family, work, home and interests. This part goes for about four to five minutes.

Section 2 – you will receive a card which requests you to present information about a specific theme. You will have one moment to get ready prior to talking for two minutes. The assessor will then, at that point, pose a couple of questions on the subject.

Section 3 – you will be posed further inquiries about the point in Section 2. These will offer you the chance to talk about additional theoretical thoughts and issues. This section of the test goes for about four to five minutes.
